Agreement
By requesting a tour, booking with us, or using Ride BCN services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our booking or contact forms. We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Services
We offer private guided e-bike experiences in Barcelona. Routes, duration, and meeting points are agreed when we confirm your booking. All public descriptions are invitations to treat; a booking is only confirmed when we communicate acceptance (including by email or WhatsApp).
Pricing and payment
Prices are given for the whole tour (one or two riders) and may change until confirmed. Once we confirm availability, we email you a secure link to pay the full price by card through our payment provider, Stripe; your booking is fully confirmed when payment is received. Unless stated otherwise, you are responsible for your own food, drinks, and personal expenses during the tour.
Health and safety
You should be able to ride a bicycle safely. We provide helmets where required by law or good practice. You agree to follow the guide’s safety instructions. Participation is at your own risk in line with applicable law; we are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control or for loss caused by a participant not following instructions.
Cancellations and weather
You may cancel or reschedule your booking free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled tour time, and we will refund the full amount paid. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the tour are not eligible for a refund.
You can cancel, or reschedule once, yourself from your Ride BCN account, or simply message us on WhatsApp or by email.
If you do not arrive at the meeting point within a reasonable time of your scheduled start (a “no-show”), the booking is treated as completed and no refund will be issued.
If we determine that weather conditions make the tour unsafe or impractical, we will contact you to reschedule or, if you prefer, provide a full refund. This decision is at our discretion and your guide's judgment on the day; light rain is often manageable and the tour may proceed as planned.
Because our tours are private guided services delivered on a specific date and time that you select at booking, they fall outside the general 14-day right of withdrawal under Spanish and EU consumer protection law, as provided in Article 103(l) of the Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 (Texto Refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios), which excludes services related to specific dates or periods of performance, including accommodation, transport, and leisure activities. The cancellation terms above are the terms that apply to your booking.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ride BCN’s liability for any claim related to a tour is limited to the amount you paid for that tour, except where liability cannot be limited by law. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
